Each fall semester, WIT mentoring and peer coaching program is available, and we pair up people to help offer growth and engagement across the Universities.
The women in technology mentor/protégé program is a peer coaching effort. This effort is open to anyone, male, female, or non-binary, and we hope to pair up people to help offer growth and engagement across campus.
- Mentoring is when an experienced individual helps others develop their skills through time-limited, confidential, one-on-one conversations and other learning activities.
- Peer Coaching is a confidential process in which two or more professional colleagues work together to reflect on current practices, expand, refine, and build new skills, share ideas, conduct classroom research, or solve problems in the workplace.
Fall Mentor/Protégé – Peer Coaching Applications
The Women in Technology (WIT) group is accepting mentor, mentee, and peer coaching applications for the Fall 2024 term. This effort and all our events are open to anyone, male, female, or non-binary, and we hope to pair people to help offer growth and engagement across campus.
We will be accepting applications for mentors, peer coaches, and mentees through August 16, 2024. After that date, we will pair people together and send invitations for the September 10, 2024, orientation session.
