Resume Review Service

WIT is happy to provide resume review services free of charge for university employees. Maintaining an up-to-date resume is important to active jobseekers and individuals seeking to promote their work in other ways. Whether you’re exploring new opportunities, preparing to speak at conferences, or aiming for a promotion, our volunteer reviewers will help you create a resume showcasing your skills and accomplishments.

How it Works

Each of our volunteer reviewers has their own experiences, specialties, and services offered. Look over the information provided by each of the reviewers below and choose the reviewer you feel best suits your needs, then book a resume review session (typically 45–60 minutes) with them through their Bookings link. After booking a session, you’ll receive an email with guidelines and a Box Upload link to share your materials before the session.

General Instructions for all reviewers:

  • Have a draft resume available for review. Reviewers will not be helping you create a resume from scratch.
  • Reviewers generally require that you to share your materials with them at least 2 business days prior to your scheduled session, but each individual reviewer may have different requirements.
  • Redact any sensitive information before sharing your resume (for example: home address, personal phone numbers, names, and contact information for references).

Individual reviewers may also have additional instructions and requirements for those seeking their services. Please read over the guidelines the reviewer provides carefully to ensure you get the most out of your session.
