As WIT continues to grow, we’d like to remind members that we have several committees that you can get involved in.
The time commitment for each committee is as much or as little time as people want to put into planning events or activities. Whether you’d like to join the committee long-term or just help organize a single event, we’d love to hear from you.

Outreach
Coordinate outreach efforts to girls and young women in our community. The Outreach committee has taken a break over the last two years but we’re eager to get it going again, so if you’re at all interested in this aspect of WIT we’re particularly eager to hear from you!
Professional Development
Organize professional development focused events and opportunities such as the monthly Roundtables, one-off talks and workshops
Communication
Keep WIT membership informed about upcoming events and activities, via the website and mailing list.
Social
Coordinates regular social networking meetings and any extra social events that people want to plan. Our minimum is putting a once a month social in the calendar and sending out the invite, and making sure at least one person from leadership can make it to the meeting.
